Inspired by Kick-Ass (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), other masked heroes appear. One such, Colonel Stars and Stripes (Jim Carrey), forms a team and Kick-Ass joins them on patrol, while Hit Girl (Chloe Grace Moretz) "retires", and tries to have a normal life. Meanwhile Red Mist (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) — reborn as The Mother Fucker — returns to play supervillain with his army, and exact revenge on Kick-Ass.
Kick-Ass 2 opens in theaters on August 16th, 2013.
